TIME INTERVALS

 

Interviews will be scheduled at 15 minutes intervals, following the structure below:

 

8:00 am – 12:30 pm - Interviews

 

12:30 pm – 2:00 pm – Lunch (TBD) (see dining section below)

 

2:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Interviews

WHEN TO FLY IN / OUT

 

To be ready to interview on Monday morning it is advisable to arrive on the Sunday before the interviews.

 

To make your trip worthwhile we advise that you return on Wednesday.

 

AIRPORT TO FLY IN

 

New York

​

The best airport to fly in is Westchester County Airport (HPN).  It is the closest to the hotel.  The hotel does not provide shuttle service but it is a short Uber ride from the airport.

​

North Carolina

​

The best airport to fly is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL); the best connections are from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) on Allegiant Air; tickets are usually less than $200 for a round trip.

 

WHERE TO STAY

TRANSPORTATION FROM / TO AIRPORT

 

NEW YORK

​

If you wish to rent a car, feel free to do so, but you may not necessarily need it.  Transportation from the airport to the hotel and back can be handled inexpensively via Uber or local taxi. 

​

We are working on having 1-2 minivans on hand to transport you for dinner on Monday and Tuesday night.  At least one car will be available to transport you around locally if you should need it.  Lastly, there is Uber. 

​

NORTH CAROLINA

​

You should rent a car from Asheville Regional Airport; the approximate drive time from the airport to Hampton Inn Cashiers is about 1 hour. 

​

DINING OUT

 

We will organize lunch and dinner for you on both Monday and Tuesday during each of the job fairs. 

​

In NY a lunch buffet will be served on both days.  Dinner on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will be organized as well, locations to be determined. 

​

In North Carolina lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurants (details to be determined).  At least one lunch and/or dinner will be hosted by CC of Sapphire Valley.  On Sunday we will dine at Table 64 (right next to the hotel). 

 

CANDIDATES PROFILE BOOKLETS

 

Booklets containing the profiles of the candidates you will be interviewing will be handed out on Monday morning.  

 

We will make every effort to email you the profiles a few days before you travel so you can read / review them ahead of time.
