RaNic Golf Club, formerly known as the Country Club of Ithaca, was founded in 2020 by the Whittaker family.

The former Country Club of Ithaca was founded in March 1900 by a group of leading Ithaca business associates and distinguished professors at Cornell University.

Many prominent people have either played or have been members of the Club. What has enabled RaNic Golf Club to flourish, as it has for over 100 years, is the makeup of the membership which, though small, is supportive of the club and its employees.

Working at Ranic, for those transferring from FL, will make for an easygoing experience. The members are super friendly. During season, the club is generally open for lunch Wednesday through Sunday (brunch) and for dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The schedule may change as needed. Club events may also take place.

H2B employees will have Monday and Tuesday off and plenty of time to enjoy what Ithaca has to offer.

Located in the Finger Lakes Region of central New York State, the city of Ithaca is famous for its natural beauty
Sitting at the southern tip of Cayuga Lake, the longest of the 11 Finger Lakes, Ithaca is known for its many waterfalls, gorges, and quiet hiking spots.

Ithaca is also only four hours from New York City and Philadelphia, four and half hours from Toronto, five hours from Montreal, and six hours from Washington D.C. Ithaca has been named one of the top 100 places to live, a top 10 recreation city, a best-green place to live, and one of the "foodiest" towns in America (check out the the world-famous Moosewood Restaurant!). In fact, Ithaca has more restaurants per capita than New York City!

But there's more.

Ithaca is also in the Fingers Lakes Region of NY which boasts over 130 wineries, endless wine trails, and a collection of wine-related events year-round. The Finger Lakes region is one of the hottest wine regions in the United States—it has been named one of the 10 must-visit wine regions in the country by USA Today’s 10Best, and rightfully so.

You will have an amazing time at Ranic and in Ithaca.
