The company provides tents, structures, flooring, lighting, event rentals, commercial installation and more for functions and events that span the eastern United States. EventQuip has been honored to receive numerous awards for tented designs and installations. EventQuip offers a wide selection of rental tents, custom plank and platform floors, service and decorative lighting, dance floors, staging, generators, climate control and much more.

DURATION OF CONTRACT

 

  • April - November 30, 2018

 

POSITIONS AVAILABLE and HOURLY RATES

 

  • Tent installers  - $15.45 / hr

 

WORKING HOURS PER WEEK

 

  • Full time schedule, at least 35 hours per week; hours will vary depending on business volume and department

  • Schedule varies from 5 days a week to 6 days a week (even 7 days a week) and is generally between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm

 

HOUSING

 

  • Shared housing is provided off premises within walking distance

  • 2 people per room

  • Type of Housing – house or apartment  located within walking distance from work site

  • Transportation to/from work provided when/if necessary

 

HOUSING COST

 

  • Housing Cost: $165.00 / week

  • Housing deposit: $300 (refundable provided housing is left in good standing condition, as it was when received, free of any damages other than normal wear and tear and if full term employment is carried out.  Workers who leave early forfeit the housing deposit)

  • Housing deposit is charged at a rate of $25 per week over the course of 12 weeks

  • The employer provides a pair of safety toe work boots, T-shirts, hard hat, safety glasses and safety vest at no cost to the employee

  • Employees are expected to provide their own suitable work pants (blue jeans, work pants or shorts appropriately fitting in solid color with no holes / cutouts are acceptable)

  • The employer pays weekly on every Friday, for the week ending the prior Saturday

  • A US issued Driver’s License helpful but not required
