ABOUT THE CLUB

Adirondack League Club was established in 1890 with guiding principles and a dedication to conservation across a unique expanse of land in the Adirondacks.  The members enjoy fishing, hunting, hiking, and boating activities, and mutual respect for the Club and one another.

The Adirondack League Club is known for its socially and politically influential members, including gilded-era industrialists and several past Presidents of the United States.  It prides itself on the preservation of a large amount of wilderness it owns, protecting its land from the invasive species in other bodies of water, including the nearby Fulton Chain. Motorboats are prohibited on all but three of its lakes, and all boats are thoroughly cleaned before entering its waters.
